Walking-pace zone
Gångfartsområde
What does the sign mean?
A walking-pace zone starts here.
Where it applies
- Vehicles may go no faster than walking pace.
- Vehicles may not be parked.
- You must give way to pedestrians.
- The rules on speed, parking and giving way apply to all vehicles, including cycles.
Exam trap
You may not park, even in an empty space, unless a sign allows it.
Do not mix up with
Pedestrian street: motor vehicles may drive there only in certain cases.
