What does the sign mean?

An environmental zone starts here, with special rules on which vehicles may enter.

Where it applies

  • The sign stands at the entrances to the zone.
  • The zone applies up to End of environmental zone, End of built-up area or another environmental zone sign.
  • Class 1 covers heavy buses and lorries, class 2 light buses, light lorries and cars, and class 3 all of these.
