What does the sign mean?
This is a stop for scheduled-service vehicles and school transport.
Where it applies
- Other vehicles may not stop or park at a marked stop. If there is no marking, this applies within 20 metres before and 5 metres after the sign.
- You may stop for people to get in or out if that does not obstruct the service.
- Where the limit is 50 km/h or lower you must slow down and let a bus signalling to leave do so. Stop if needed.
Exam trap
The distance is 20 metres before and 5 metres after, not the other way round.
Do not mix up with
Taxi: that sign shows where a taxi stand ends.
