What does the sign mean?
A one-way carriageway becomes a carriageway with traffic in both directions.
Where it applies
- Expect oncoming traffic ahead.
Exam trap
The sign stands ahead of the point where the road stops being one-way. Before overtaking, the lane must be clear of oncoming traffic for long enough.
Do not mix up with
One-way traffic: that sign shows the opposite.
