What does the sign mean?
The road may be slippery.
Where it applies
- The sign is used for snow or ice only where there is a particular reason.
Exam trap
No sign does not mean the road is safe. Snow and ice are not normally signed, so you must judge the surface yourself.
Do not mix up with
Warning for loose chippings: that is about stones being thrown up, not grip.
