No overtaking
Förbud mot omkörning
What does the sign mean?
You may not overtake other motor vehicles, except two-wheeled mopeds and two-wheeled motorcycles without a sidecar.
Where it applies
- The ban applies on the road where the sign stands, up to the sign End of no overtaking.
Exam trap
Unlike most prohibition signs, this ban does not end at the next junction.
Do not mix up with
No overtaking by heavy lorries: that applies only if you drive a heavy lorry.
