What does the sign mean?
You may not drive with any wheel on this area.
Where it applies
- The area is made up of angled or slanted stripes.
- Two exceptions apply, with particular care: if needed to pass an obstacle on the road, and if the room in a junction would otherwise not be enough for the vehicle.
Exam trap
The area is not an extra lane or a place to overtake. You may not stop or park there either.
