What does the sign mean?
The arrows show the suitable lane for the next junction.
Where it applies
- With a solid lane line you must follow the arrow's direction. This does not apply if, at the junction, you enter or leave a reserved lane.
- Two arrows the same way also cover the following junction.
- The arrows also show you may not drive in the opposite direction.
Exam trap
The arrow's direction binds you only where the lane is marked by a solid lane line.
Do not mix up with
Mandatory direction: a sign that gives an order.
