What does the sign mean?
This path is for pedestrians only.
Where it applies
- Other vehicles may only cross the path.
- Someone walking a cycle counts as a pedestrian.
- Children may cycle here up to and including the year they turn eight, if there is no cycle path.
Do not mix up with
Mandatory pedestrian and cycle path: cyclists may use that one too.
