What does the sign mean?

This path is for cyclists and riders of class II mopeds.

Where it applies

  • If class II mopeds may not use it, a supplementary plate says so.
  • Other vehicles may only cross the path. Pedestrians may walk here if there is no footway or shoulder.
  • The rule runs to the next junction unless it ends earlier.

Exam trap

Cars may cross the path but not drive along it, and may not stop or park on it.

Do not mix up with

Mandatory pedestrian and cycle path: that one is shared with pedestrians.
