When overtaking is allowed and when it is forbidden, passing cyclists and vulnerable road users, and meeting traffic on narrow roads.
8. Motorways, country roads and towns
How the rules change by environment: joining and leaving a motorway, rural hazards, and the walking-pace and residential zones inside towns.
9. Stopping and parking
The difference between stopping and parking in Swedish law, where each is prohibited, parking discs and charges, and cleaning-day rules.
10. The driver
Vision, fatigue, attention and distraction — the human limits that traffic rules are built around, and the ones the test asks about directly.
11. Alcohol, drugs and medicine
The legal limits, how the body actually processes alcohol, the penalties, and the prescription medicines that affect your fitness to drive.
12. The vehicle
Brakes, steering, lights, the warning lamps on your dashboard, inspection requirements, and what makes a car unroadworthy.
13. Tyres, winter and difficult conditions
Winter-tyre dates and tread requirements, studded versus friction tyres, aquaplaning, black ice, fog and driving in the dark.
14. Loading, towing and trailers
Load security and overhang, what your car and licence are allowed to tow, gross weights, and the speed limits that apply with a trailer.
15. Accidents, first aid and breakdowns
Your legal duties at the scene, the order of priorities, basic first aid, warning triangles, and what to do when you break down.
16. Environment, economy and eco-driving
Fuel consumption and emissions, eco-driving technique, the environmental zones in Swedish cities, and the running costs of a car.
