Time indication

Where it applies

• Black or white figures without brackets: weekdays (Monday to Saturday, in Swedish vardag), except a weekday before a Sunday or public holiday.
• Black or white figures in brackets: a weekday before a Sunday or public holiday, usually Saturday.
• Red figures: Sundays and public holidays.
• If the time runs past midnight, the part after midnight applies on the following day.
• If a certain date or weekday is stated, the rule applies that day, even if it is a Sunday or public holiday.
• Under a sign that bans parking, or stopping and parking, the plate is yellow with black characters.

Do not mix up with

Permitted parking time: that plate shows how long you may stay, not when the rule applies.
