Heads up
Environment Is Broader Than Climate
On the exam, environment questions cover more than just CO₂. Noise, urban particulates, soil and water pollution, and resource waste all count. Think broadly when a question is environment-related.
Transport impact and how to reduce it
A car leaves four footprints on the environment: CO₂ and particulate emissions, noise, wear on tyres and road, and energy use. You can't erase them, but you can shrink three of them by how you drive. Idling longer than 30 seconds, hard acceleration and short trips are the biggest culprits. Every extra minute at idle is pure waste.
